Once you reach 6 weeks and have clearance, you can transition into Strong C-Section Mama for more targeted C-section physical therapy exercises and support.

When to start physical therapy after a C-section?

How can I lose my C-section “pooch” without surgery?

Yes! This is one of the biggest misconceptions about cesarean births. Your pelvic floor supports your baby's weight for 9 months during pregnancy, regardless of delivery method. Plus, hormonal and postural changes during pregnancy & motherhood can contribute to pelvic floor issues. Many C-section moms are surprised to experience leaking (AKA, peeing when you cough or exercise), pelvic pain, or weakness.

Yes! Many moms experience improved sensation and reduced numbness with consistent scar mobilization and other specific techniques in Strong C-Section Mama.

Does this program address diastasis recti?

YES! As a pelvic PT, Dr. Anna has treated hundreds of women who struggled with pelvic floor issues after cesarean birth, including tightness (also known as a hypertonic pelvic floor), weakness, pain, and leaking. Some women can also develop pelvic organ prolapse. Strong C-Section Mama helps improve these issues and prevent them from getting worse.

Does this program address pelvic floor dysfunction?

Strong C-Section Mama is designed to fit into busy mom life! Each session takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. For best results, aim to do your C-section physical therapy exercises twice per week (or more often if you want to!). The program has a clear progression path, so you know exactly what to do and when to advance to promote healing.

How much time will I need to commit each week?

ABSOLUTELY! The program was created by a pelvic therapist and a mom of three who understands the realities of motherhood. All exercises can be done while your kids play nearby, and the short session format makes it easier to fit into unpredictable schedules. It’s also easy to start, stop, and pause as needed. 

Can I do this program with my baby/kids around?
